About the role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer / Engineer who will work closely with work with internal teams (sales, product, operations) to create delightful experiences for users to create delightful experiences for users.  Every change and enhancement you make will be instantly used by our customers, so you’ll see the fruits of your labour every day.  They are committed to following Rails best practices around enabling continuous deployment with comprehensive testing and it would be greatly beneficial if you are familiar with this framework.

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, reliable, and efficient Ruby code
• Design robust, scalable and secure features
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle - architecture, design and development, user experience development, documentation, unit testing, delivery and maintenance
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance of the system as necessary

About you

• 2+ years of commercial development experience with Ruby on Rails or similar server-side languages (PHP, C# etc.)  They will be happy to support and train if limited commercial ROR experience.
• Experienced in building complex web applications
• You are proficient in Ruby, Rails, RSpec, JavaScript/CoffeeScript/ES6, CSS/SCSS, HTML, Postgres
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• You are a problem solver who can work autonomously and get things done
• Ability to work efficiently and bias towards action in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
• Preferably you have worked with a start-up OR smaller company post-graduation
• Enjoy collaborating with other entrepreneurs who want to build something great
• Comfortable at giving and receiving feedback from others
• BS / BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
