Reporting directly to the State Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for prospecting, developing and closing new business within the SMB. You will have access to a CRM system, direct marketing, and inbound leads, so you don't need to feel like you are all alone in the wilderness. That being said, they are not the type of organisation that sit back and wait for success to just happen, they get out there and chase it. So, for the successful candidate, your level of tenacity and professionalism needs to match that of the business.
This role will be focussed on acquisition; therefore, you are a HUNTER and New Business Development comes naturally. If identifying opportunities across Managed Services, Telecommunications solutions and selling solutions is what you have done, read on.
You will have a successful sold Managed Services OR Managed IT OR something AS A Service and possess at least 3 years BDM experience. You love the thrill of the chase in securing quality new business. Most importantly you will have the desire and passion to succeed, a thirst to learn and be motivated to achieve sales results. You inherently understand what great customer leadership looks and feels like.
