Reporting to the Chief Product Officer but working closely with the Connectivity and Voice Category Managers, the focal point of this role is to provide a high level of technical network solution design and pre sales support to the front line sales teams. The person in this role will be seen as a Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert and will support direct and indirect channels across all telecommunication products.
You will actively participate in customer sales calls and/or meetings involving complex communications solutions. You will also work closely with the service delivery team to ensure there is consistency in high quality designs and solution architecture.
You boast a solid Telco background and ideally have experience with more than one carrier or an aggregator. Your knowledge and experience of Data Products - MPLS Networks, Broadband Internet, FTTP, FTTN, IPVPN, Point to Point Ethernet, Point to Multi-Point Ethernet, Hosted IP Telephony - SIP Voice (SIP Trunking), Call Termination Service (CTS), and Traditional Voice Products - ISDN, etc and will ensure you are shortlisted.
It is more than likely your background will be as a Technical Sales Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer, Voice or Data Specialist, Solutions Consultant, Communications Consultant, Network Engineer etc.
It goes without saying that you are a highly articulate with excellent communication & presentation skills.
