Senior Provisioning Consultant – Wholesale Telecommunications

The Role: Senior Provisioning Consultant

Reporting to the Provisioning Manager, the main focal point of this role is to provide provisioning support to wholesale customers (Service Providers) for their telecommunications product set consisting of PSTN, DSL, NBN, Mobile and inbound numbers. 

This exciting role will see you offer effective support and management of the current product range including provisioning and assisting the Operations team to deliver their Customer Charter.

This Senior role will also see you work closely with carrier provisioning teams and collaborate with a small team who sit offshore.

Get stuff done – update and deliver on SLA’s to service providers, assist both internal and external teams with new product updates/rollouts, improved efficiencies and answer all enquires via phone or ticketing system to assist with product/process improvements.

 

About you: Senior Provisioning Consultant

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ telecommunications provisioning experience (from a carrier, service provider, aggregator / wholesale OR channel).   You must be a professional who is always looking for ways to improve products, efficiency and support capabilities.  You naturally take ownership, are a team player, self-starter, excited by challenges, a strong time manager, have great communication skills, a pro-active style and an eagerness to develop your career. 

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • 5+ years in telecommunications provisioning role
  • Strong communication skills gained in a customer facing role
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think through problems logically
  • Able to work to deadlines & manage multiple projects
  • Able to build lasting relationships with Service Providers, suppliers and internal staff
  • Ability to work within multiple teams
  • Pro-active and willing to take the initiative to drive improvements
  • Excellent follow up and administration
  • Knowledge and experience with the National Broadband Network (NBN) provisioning
