APAC Sales Director - ICT


About our client

Our client is one of Australia’s fastest growing Telecoms companies with market leading, innovative IP PBX, SIP Trunking, VoIP System, Unified Comms and software products. In recent years they are consistently ranked in the CRN Fast50 and Smart50 and are renowned for their unrivalled quality of service.

As they continue their aggressive growth strategy, they require the services of an experienced Sales Director to develop and lead the execution of this initiative. With clients across Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines and 7 points of presence, they are looking to triple revenues and continue their expansion across APAC.

About the role

As Sales Director, you will devise growth strategies and lead the sales team to double revenues. This challenging and exciting role will see you develop sales systems and lead, train and mentor the sales team to execute more efficiently and effectively. Typical clients are Corporates and SMB’s between 50-500 seats however they are provisioned to move into Enterprise and Government.

About you

The role of Sales Director is multi-faceted, comprising aspects of sales management, business development, direct sales, channel management and evangelism.

You are likely mid-late career and looking for a position where you can put to use all the tools and skills gained in prior positions. You will have lead sales teams of at least 5 and enjoy working in the field in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment. You will be inspired to build a professional sales team and improve sales methodologies and efficiencies to optimise growth.

You should be able to clearly articulate your value prop as a sales manager and be able to provide tangible evidence to support your accolades.

You are a self-starter with exceptional communication skills, who can lead a small and dedicated team to drive the APAC territory.
